Our Program
Children are grouped into small classes according to age. Transitions to the next level occur according to age, developemental level, space availability, and staffing. For information on a specific age group click here. Each classroom has developed a developement age appropriate schedule in order to meet the needs of daily biological care. Classroom teachers create weekly lesson plans to meet the growing developemental and educational needs of every child in the class. We allow our teachers to develope their own curriculum in order to tap into more unique and creative teaching. We believe children learn best in a fun and loving environment. Our curriculum includes spiritual growth, social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth, self-help skills, music, and arts. The Uriah UMC Day Care is owned and operated by a Board of Directors comprised of Uriah UM Church members. The beliefs of the chuch are followed and used to operate the day care. The curriculum also includes a regular daily time for sharing the beliefs, stories, and songs. Home
